Bio/Profile |
I was born in London, studied in Oxford and was a Software Engineer for many years in the medical and financial industry. After the dotcom crash I diversified and opened an ran small music shop with my wife Sarah. I was the business and accounting side while Sarah did the Music. I started singing as a way to find a common hobby with her and as an easy way to learn more about music. I discovered Barbershop Harmony in 2007 just before we moved to Australia and have been singing as much as I can since then. I am currently the musical director of The Adelaide Allsorts, I direct a retired Men's barbershop group in Aldinga Beach called The Fleurieu Harmony Chorus and I am singing Tenor for Adelaide Vocal Union, as well as being in a couple of mixed quartets. |

Bio/Profile |
I discovered the joys of Barbershop singing 10 weeks before I moved to Australia in 2007. I enrolled in an 8 week learn to sing in harmony course run by Oxford Harmony in the UK as a recruitment drive. I joined Fleurieu Harmony 10 days after I landed in Australia. I sing Tenor and Lead and am now directing Fleurieu Harmony as well as co-directing The Adelaide Allsorts (a mixed voice barbershop chorus) that I founded in 2010 I sing Lead in a mixed barbershop quartet called ConFusion and Tenor in Fleurieu Harmonys own "Pacemakers" and am constantly looking to form new quartets to have fun and learn more about this wonderful contact sport known as Barbershop! |
